The caption reads true. You see, while doing my research for a research paper, Safari opened a new tab to your favorite department store, Barneys New York. I have absolutely no clue how it happened. I swear. While gagging browsing through the men's section, I came across a few items that caused me to shed a tear for a day when my entire closet will be filled with such things. Since I can't click "Add To Cart," I have to unfortunately/fortunately press the save image link and post it on VC for all of you guys to see. One day I will though. You'll see.

Morning Muse

     Good Morning! I've been blogging for about two years now, and I've never thought to share with you some of my morning routines (which does vary). This morning I woke up, and checked GQ.com which is what I do around this time (MFW) to see what's new in the collections.

I'm on one

     I'm obsessed with Hip-Hop culture. I don't say this to sound cool, I say this sincerely. From a young age I would watch Jay-Z, and many other artists grind to make their way to the top. This initially helped fuel my love for Fashion, and Glamour. The videos with the expensive cars, labels, and gorgeous mansions made me yearn for a fabulous life full of these things. I started to think 'How can I make my way into this world, and still be happy?' I started to think about some of my traits, and what I'm good at, and VOILA: I decided I will become an Entertainment and Fashion Publicist. 
     Public Relations is something is very interesting to me, and I feel I will be good at. I'm organized,  I love to write, and I know how to work a room. My networking skills are very good, and I'm proud to say at the age of 16, I know just about every single party promoter, and event producers in Cleveland. I know  this is off topic, but I never really open up with my readers. I usually use my Twitter account (@JustinAlvis), but I've resorted to my first love, VC. 
     Below is BTS footage for the music video "I'm On One." This is what fueled my sudden thought to share my dreams and aspirations with you, because the video shows the grind, and the hustle put in for a 5 min. video. Drake explains how he uses his own house, which isn't even furnished, just to shoot the video. DJ Khaled explains how he came to Miami with no money and a dream. This is inspiration to me. We alll can't just come into these industries with everything handed to us. Hard work must be put in, and a smile must be kept on your face. Check the video out and become inspired.

Want to win my heart? Installment I

     I'm not superficial. Okay, maybe a little, but with good intentions. I'm not amused by small things, and it takes a lot for me to love. I know this sounds cliche, but I loathe cherish shoes more than most of my relationships. My clothes will love me better. Clothing makes me happy.

     That said, I've decided to start a series of posts titled "Want to win my heart?" and post things that will definitely make me crazy for you. So let's begin with the first installment.

Life happened

Hey! I know, I know I've been gone for WEEKS and act like everything is normal! I have a good excuse though! During this mini hiatus somethings have happened.

• I went to Europe and Africa (pictures and summary to come soon) 
• My grades have went up 
• I've discovered a lot of new talented artists and what not 
• Spoke with some people about possible summer collaborations 
• Gained a broader fanbase (in other words networked) 
• Attended Lady Gaga concert. AMAZING. 

See so I've not been totally out of the loop. Don't think I forgot about my fellow VC readers. Expect posts immediately.

F.I.N.A.L.S ( Fashion Interruption Need A Little Studying)

It's finals week--Why does St. Ignatius gives us finals AFTER break is still oblivious to me. I pay 11,000 dollars to be put on a scehdule I just can't commit too. I'm paying for school but can't even pay attention in class. So now I'm picking up my notebooks and looking at the doodles of blueprints and business plans. [I like to think ahead] I guess I'll hit up the Library.

London Bloke

Even though I'm a sophomore, I'm already thinking about going my college plans. Of course my first picks are all in NYC. However, I must have other plans. One of them, is actually going to school in London. Yes, all of my undergrad. Amazing right? Well I was doing research and came across a school called AIU London which fits me perfectly. I could study fashion in LONDON. I mean what's more amazing. My favorite brand, Burberry is based in London so this would be an excellent opportunity to make connections and eventually work within the company. My spark of interest in London is slowly being feeded, but I feel as though this will be the beginning of something really new. I'm always willing to step out of my comfort zone, and this will be the perfect way to do so. Of course it's not my first choice, but it's definitely something I'm thinking about. What about you? Would you ever go out of country for undergrad?

Oh blah.

I wish I could tell you guys that I did something amazing this weekend, but I didn't. I sat in the house and took myself to insanity due to boredom. I have no inspiration to blog about. But I'll be back... very soon.

Customizing trucks/cars. Next is a Benz CL Coupe, and then maybe the G-Class. Yeah--- I'm fancy. What did you expect? There's no point in customizing a Honda. People should be ashamed of trying to customize one.

This is why I love her.

She couldn't have said it better honestly. Trina is always known for keeping it real, and isn't afraid to say that she's a freaky girl. She isn't afraid to step out her boundaries. Honestly, she didn't come at anyone wrong and even hinted at a possible collaboration. #Noshade.. This is why I love her over Kim and Nicki. Now what?

This week has been so much. I capped it off by attending an event at the loft, located on Detroit Ave. (for all of my clevelanders) with my favorites Amina and Davida. It's 1:58 in the morning as I type this, but I feel as though, you guys should be updated with my life, ya know? Wait, click the jump there's more.

One Day.

One day, my hard work WILL pay off. Just understand that I will be famous. I'm not so sure what is my calling just yet, however, I will be successful. In 5 years, you can google me. Just think, I've begun building my brand at the age of 15. yeah 15 Oh, you forgot?

Terrence J. What the heck?

Okay so let me just say this right now. I have been saying this, since he has began the show, and will continue to say it even when he leaves. TERRENCE J CANNOT DRESS. 

He never fails to amaze me.

Kanye is whom I'm referring to. He has made yet again another track and teamed up with, surprisingly Charlie Wilson. The song, titled "See Me Now" also, has Beyonce on the track. My favorite part is when he says "And imma let you finish but I got Beyonce on the track" HA! Classic. But just listen and absorb yourself into his lyrics.

So all of my readers who are from Cleveland, OH, know that the Coventry Festival was yesterday. I think it's safe to say that it was just a mess. 9 arrests were made from Minors who decided to solve their confrontation by fighting at an public place. Butttttt other than that, I seen alll of my loves, including my love Imani from VivalaFame. I really liked her outfit and I should've took a picture.

So today I had to finish up my application (I'm pretty sure I got the job) and to go get my braces tigthened and the top part put on. OUCH. These things are ridiculous. Whatever, this what I wore.

Heaven Sent

Okay, today was interesting? Uhm so first, I have to tell you guys about this morning, where I went to go apply for jobs. It was horrible. I had to go to my school TWICE to get a work permit and come to find out the server was down. I really doubt that I get that job. So I'm just going to do volunteer work until further notice. So this is what I wore this morning

And so then later that day, I had to attend an funeral with my grandmother. One of her high school friends passed, so sad. I really didn't like my outfit then but I'll post pics anyway

In need of an expensive camera.

I need like an camera that I can call mines that gives really good pictures for my look posts. I have been abusing my photobooth camera and producing pictures that aren't blog-worthy but I'll post them anyway to show you guys what I am talking about.

.... and I need a place other than my junky ass house to take pictures at!
