Even though I'm a sophomore, I'm already thinking about going my college plans. Of course my first picks are all in NYC. However, I must have other plans. One of them, is actually going to school in London. Yes, all of my undergrad. Amazing right? Well I was doing research and came across a school called AIU London which fits me perfectly. I could study fashion in LONDON. I mean what's more amazing. My favorite brand, Burberry is based in London so this would be an excellent opportunity to make connections and eventually work within the company. My spark of interest in London is slowly being feeded, but I feel as though this will be the beginning of something really new. I'm always willing to step out of my comfort zone, and this will be the perfect way to do so. Of course it's not my first choice, but it's definitely something I'm thinking about. What about you? Would you ever go out of country for undergrad?

Relationship Talk: Women playing this Blame Game.
Lydia Cotton from Silk and Suede on Vimeo.
"Mind over matter. If you think that the men that come into your life aren't going to be shit, then guess what? They're not going to be shit.."
This woman speaking was the music to my ears. It's about women who choose to throw the blame on a man who has done nothing but what he's been doing all the time. Ladies will lay down with this man and have his child, and have the slightest clue why she's receiving no help or respect. It's because you sit with a man that you know isn't going to be anything and you let him come into your life. In a way you like it because you want to be disrespected, and you want to have this drama in your life. Is it fufilling? No, but oddly it helps you sleep at night. You settle for less when you know you can have more. Mediocrity should not be accepted in your happyness. It's so much potential for the average woman, yet she chooses to stay with a man that hurts her all the time. Let me share a quote with all of my women (and men)
"Love isn't supposed to hurt. If it hurts, then it isn't love"-Unknown
This is something a good friend of mines was saying the other day. It's a short quote but very very powerful. Ladies if you decide to sit with a man who hurts you time and time again, then one of you are very sickening. Because sweetie that isn't love. Love is carefree and you shouldn't worry about the next heartbreak.
I'll conclude with this final remark, Ladies find yourself within yourself and know your worth. If you feel as though you want to settle for a man who isn't as romantically involved the relationship as you, then fine. However, if you're not happy and you sit and complain about your 'man' then it's time to sit down and complain about you.

Is you ready to "Act Da Fool"?
Yes I know I made a grammatical error in the title
I know I'm late on this video, but I wanted to show you guys who haven't seen it yet, and to voice my opinion on the video that Proenza Schouler released this summer for Spring/Summer 2011, called "Act Da Fool". You may have to watch more than once to actually understand it.
Okay, so the first time I watched it, it was without doing my formal research which eventually persuades my thinking in a way. I'm open to all views. Well, initially I thought that...

Well if ya, lookin for me, I'm probably in Metropolis
This boy on Friday in class asked me "Why do you wear a different pair of shoes everyday?" I asked "Why do you wear the same?" It seems as though I'm the only one in my all boy catholic school, that's caught up in superficial glamour. Alot of these kids will sit in class and actually dare I say, stress the work. I'm most likely thinking about what I'm wearing to an event on the weekend, or my next purchase, or blog post. The pictures always snap at me for not paying attention, but I have an A or B in all of these classes. Except for Biology, that class shall not be discussed. I'm just ready to go to college, and meet a bunch of more people like me. Who are just as interested in my craft.

You know.
Of course this is another one of my rants. I have to like write down some of the things that I want to post about becasue I simply am too lazy to type out my thoughts sometimes. lol. School, is school. Nothing much to say about that. Honestly, I'm thinking about some other organizations I can join to network myself. Junior NAACP. I think so. I have a friend who's in there and he's been encouraging me for some time now to join it. I guess I will take him up on that. I have this very long seminar to do for my Speech Club. I'm doing an interpretation of Obama's speech on women's rights. I'm a big advocate for women's rights since majority of the people I'm around is females. I feel as though women are in a way more wiser than men, and why can't they handle them selves in Corporate America. Not all women want to be kept. Remember to WANT but not NEED him, ladies. It's 2010 get with it or get lost.
Okay I'm not going to bore you guys too much. Let me just end it with NENE is still hands down my favorite Housewife. Even with her nose job...

He couldn't have said it better.
That was Bryan boy of the infamous fashion blog Bryan Boy speaking on his experience working with H&M and styling an shoot.
What I wanted to point out was his quote in regards to Catholic School. He said that he felt so restricted and couldn't really open himself in regards to his attire. He stated that Catholic schools are very retsricted. He said he would borrow his moms magazines and during lunch would go through them. I feel exactly like he does, since I do actually attend a VERY restricted ALL boy catholic school, where Fashion is actually looked down upon as being "Girl Stuff". Apparently, since I'm an 15 year old boy I'm supposed to be playing football, getting my penis sucked, and playing video games. The life right? WRONG. That wasn't how I was raised, and it just wasn't things I am accustomed too, and can never see myself becoming accustomed too.

Love, Hate.
Me and school have a love hate kind if thing. It loves to stress me out, and I hate it. Every week, I don't really dread going to school, but it really aggaravates me to the point where I start to have headaches. Now don't get me wrong, I love learning. But I'm starting to learn some things as I get older. To some, school is their LIFE. They feel as though every single minute should be dedicated to school. Me however, I feel as though school is just an accessory to the outfit of my life. Click on to see what I mean.

This was an question that someone emailed me on Facebook to ask me. At first, alot of things came through my head
- What exactly is considered alot of friends?
- Does having alot of friends make someone feel better, or superior to people who don't have as many?
- Does he view me as an popular person?
- Is befriending people an way of dealing with a very tough situation someone is going through?
