Salvatore Ferragmo F/W 2012

It's about that time! Mens Fashion Week. Vintage Cardigans wouldn't be VC if I didn't give you the Salvatore Ferragamo show.
Ferragamo GAVE this season. He gives the Italian man an option to wear something to work, and go out for drinks immediately afterwards. He gives lush velvet blazers, and gorgeous overcoats with an extremely slim pant. The way he strategically placed the scarves so that they whip across the neck, let us know that the Ferragamo man is "that" man. The clutches the men had in hand, and fanny packs really surprised me from the mostly conservative Massimiliano Giornetti (designer). I hate wallets, and I think a clutch is very useful, and adds something very interesting to your outfit. Women can have so much fun with buying handbags, and I feel that men should share that fun as well. Overall, this collection is definitely one of my favorites from Ferragamo.

The Look: velvet, houndstooth, tweed, and silk overcoats and dinner jackets. Turtlenecks, oversized scarves with a side swoop, or regular loop knot. Slim pant, with an amazing fit at the leg. The footwear was very modern and traditional at the same time. A lot of red, but that's Ferragamo. Fanny packs, and clutches giving looks an extra POP.
