Ugo Mozie

I'm rarely inspired by someone so much that I ask for an interview. When I seen Ugo, I was intrigued by his fashion sense that is similar to my taste. He's a stylist and actually a designer for his own clothing line entitled AstonMozie. His style and work ethic has landed him many jobs and the likes of celebrity friends galore. I touched bases with him via email and got actually a quick interview with him.

Are you a stylist, designer or both?

 Both

What made you want to work in the Fashion industry? What part do you like
  the most?

Ever since i was a kid, ive always been intrigued by fashion. I 1st
realized that the fashion industry was for me when i made my 1st trip to NY
when i was 15. I love the creativity and the individuality. Everyone
expresses there inner emotions and thoughts through there wardbe.

When you're going in for a job, what is something that you like to do? Do
  you have a ritual?

No rituals, every job is different. I always walk into set with a
positive mind full of ideas.

In your designs, what is your motivation? What inspires you to create?
Travelling, People, Architecture, and myself.

Was there anytime in your life, where you felt as though you were just
ready to give up, and do something vocational?

Sometimes i feel that way about school... But I didnt, and Im not going to.
Quitting is not in my blood.

What would be the most important advice you would give someone like me (age
  15) that is aspiring to work in the fashion industry?

I would advise you to always be yourself. You will often be rediculed and
want to conform, but originality is the key. It will draw those thst matter
to you. And its the best fulfilment to know people love you for who you
  trully are.

I'll add him to my book of inspirations.
