Cruisin in December.

A friend of mines is going on a cruise in a few weeks and I immediately asked him to let me plan his wardrobe Whenever I think cruise the first thing that comes to mind (for a male) is Boat shoes, Breezy button downs, Seersucker and Khaki shorts, and fedoras. Of course you have to add your own twist to incorporate personal style. Here's a few looks that I think will make you THAT guy on the cruise.

This is the basic look for a cruise. The Fedora, cotton button down, sperry, khaki shorts, and bracelets. Add the bracelets to any outfit to make it pop. My accessory of choice was GoodWood bracelets. I actually have a set of my own and I throw them on with everything because they're so accessible and the colors compliment everything.

Yes, I know it may take a second to digest, but on a cruise you CAN use color. Actually, this is the best place to use color, because most likely you're going somewhere tropical where color is necessary. Now, I left the basic seersucker, and then I added a Chambray shirt. What is Chambray? It is a material that is very lightweight and can put you in the mind of denim but WAY less thick. this shirt and fabric was very popular in the summer because it was so easy. You put it on and match it with EVERYTHING due to it's denim-like look. For shoe I went with a TOM shoe in RED! Yes, red is such a bold color and draws all eyes on you immediately. It's definitely a conversation starter, which is one of the best parts of going on a cruise. Meeting new people. I added a Brooch to the mix which can be clipped to the shirt. The selected brooch is from Dee and Ricky 

*note do not mix different bold colors. It will throw the look off completely*

Now, I know some may want to sit pool side with their trunks. That's perfectly fine too. So I picked a bold color orange to talk with. Always pair white the a trunk because it's most fitting for poolside. Slide in shoes or flip flops are preferred if you would like to put your feet in the water. Try putting a shirt on under your white shirt to make the white shirt seem less boring. Necklace wise, less is more. Do something simple, with a chain to add another flair.

Okay so these three outfits are basis and examples of some of the things that will make you STAND OUT and feel great in. Let's recap
